Who we are
Monzari is published by Felix Hohgraebe, c/o POSTFLEX PFX-208-959, Emsdettener Straße 10, 48268 Greven, Germany. Contact: contact@playmonzari.com.
What we store
- Your account: an account id, the player name you see in the game, when the account was created, and the sign-ins you linked (Apple, Google or an email address used for one-time sign-in codes). Guests have no sign-in linked.
- Your game progress: your creatures, training, items, dex, presets, cosmetics, Trail progress, settings saved on the server and your profile picture choice (a creature, never a photo).
- Matches: the matches you played (seat, place, the creatures you fielded and your moves) so you and the other players can watch replays and see results; ranked ratings and monthly results.
- Friends: your friend code, friend requests, friends and players you blocked. Quick chat uses fixed phrases and emotes only: there is no free text and nothing you write is stored.
- Purchases: the store product, the platform (Apple or Google), the store's transaction id and the time. We never see or store payment details: the app stores handle payment.
- Analytics: game events (for example a finished match, a recruit, a training) under a one-way pseudonymous id made from your account id with a secret key. Analytics never contain your name, email or sign-in.
- Fair play: to find cheating and unfair play the server notes when an account passes a limit (for example hours played in a day, commands that come at machine-like steady times, the same two players meeting again and again in Battle, or progress faster than play allows), with the numbers and the matches it is about. The app sends a random id of the app install; the server keeps only a one-way hash of it, to count how many accounts play on one install. When players report each other we keep who reported whom, the reason (an offensive name; no free text) and the match. When our team acts (a warning, a name reset, a ban, taking back Battle rating) we keep what was done, why and by whom.
- Technical logs: the server keeps short-lived logs (requests, errors) to keep the game running.
Why
To run the game (your progress, matches, friends), to keep it fair (anti-cheat, reports, bans: a person on our team looks at every case, nothing is banned automatically), to deliver what you buy, and to balance and improve the game (analytics). The legal bases are the contract with you (playing the game) and our legitimate interest in a fair, working game.
Who sees it
Other players see your player name, profile picture, rank, profile stats, showcase and last battled roster (rosters are public on purpose: scouting is part of the game). Only our team sees fair play notes and reports; a reported player is never told who reported them. We use hosting and database providers to run the servers ([provider names and regions]), and Apple and Google for sign-in and payments. We do not sell your data and show no ads.
How long
As long as your account exists. Fair play notes, install hashes and reports are deleted after 90 days; what our team did about an account (warnings, bans) stays with the account so repeated cheating can be seen. Short-lived logs are deleted after [N] days. Backups are kept for [N] days.
Your rights
- Export: Settings > Your data > Export my data gives you everything the server stores about you as a JSON file.
- Delete: Settings > Your data > Delete account deletes your account for good, at once: your account, sign-ins, sessions, progress, friends, ratings, analytics events and fair play records (notes, install hashes, reports you sent or received, and our actions). Two things stay without your account: store purchase records (transaction id, product, time; needed for refunds and accounting) and the matches other players played with you (your seat shows as "Deleted player").
- You can also contact us at contact@playmonzari.com to access, correct or delete your data, or to object (fair play records about you are not in the export; ask us for them). If your account was banned, the ban message names the address for questions and appeals.
Children
The game has no free text chat and no ads. [Age rating and the rules for players under 13/16 in the launch regions: parental consent flow if needed.]
Changes
We will show changes to this policy in the game before they apply.
